• Comments: We currently live in Edinburgh and planning to rent a van around mid-september to move our stuff to Amsterdam (via ferry from Newcastle). If you are planning to move to Edinburgh then why don't we rent a van together, we do one way and you do the return (or the way around)? Unfortunately no renting company in the UK offers a one way deal, but picking up in Edinburgh, going to Europe and returning it to Edinburgh is possible and can be rather cheep (200£ + 150£ for the ferry).
